Ways to partner
Four ways to help.
Most companies start with a volunteering day and come back for something bigger. Mix them as you like.
Volunteering days
A half or full day for your team: a session with the children, kit-building at your office, painting a classroom, or crewing one of our big days.
See the four formatsSponsor Kalakriti
Our children’s arts festival, once a year. ₹1,000 brings a child for the day; ₹50,000 sponsors one of its eight events.

Sponsor Kalakriti
Give children a stage.
Once a year, children from our communities get one full day of arts and culture: eight events marked by guest judges, a stage of their own and a hall cheering them on. Every child goes home with a certificate, and the ones who shine get a year of training through Kalakriti Horizon, with competitions outside to test their skills.

One child
₹1,000
Brings one child for the day: travel, lunch, materials, a medal and a certificate.
One event
₹50,000
Sponsors one of the eight events, from rangoli to group dance, with your name on its stage and in the festival report.
Title sponsor
₹4,50,000
Covers the whole festival, with your name on Kalakriti and on everything we put out about it.
Kalakriti 3.0 cost ₹4,44,190 for 500 children, about ₹890 a child, and Kalakriti Horizon, the year of dance, music and art training before it, another ₹2,03,373. Every rupee is in the financial disclosure. Read the disclosure (opens in a new tab)

Safeguarding
Children first.
Everyone who spends time with our children follows the same rules, whether they come on their own or with their company.
- Volunteers are 18 or over, and every session with children starts with a short briefing.
- Nobody is ever alone with a child. An Optimist is always in the room.
- We take the photos, and share only the ones we have permission to use. Please don’t photograph the children yourself.
- No personal contact with children or their families outside our sessions, including phone numbers and social media.
- Gifts and money go through us, never to one child, so every child gets the same.
- Anyone who doesn’t follow the rules is asked to leave.
Paperwork

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Is Proud Indian eligible for CSR funding?
Yes. We are registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs to take on CSR projects (CSR-1 CSR00053151), registered under 80G and 12A, and our accounts have been audited every year since 2019–20. See the paperwork.
Can a volunteering day count towards our CSR spend?
That’s for your CSR committee to decide. Either way, we give you an invoice with the costs broken down and a report on the day.
How many people can you take?
From 8 for a session with the children to around 100 for kit-building at your office. For a bigger team we split the day into batches or mix the formats.
Can we volunteer on a weekday?
Yes, for kit-building at your office and for most painting days. Sessions with the children are on Saturdays and Sundays, because they’re at school during the week.
Where do volunteering days happen?
Sessions with the children are at our community centre in Ibbaluru, near Bellandur. Painting days are at schools, homes and centres we work with around Bengaluru, and kit-building is at your office.
How far ahead should we plan?
Three to four weeks for most days, and longer for a painting day or a Kalakriti sponsorship.
Can we do something regular, not just one day?
Yes. A team can come to a class every month, or fund a programme for a year. Tell us what you have in mind and we’ll plan it with you.
Do donations get an 80G receipt?
Yes. Every donation gets an 80G receipt by email; add your PAN when you donate. For receipts and invoices, write to [email protected].
